Boys Soccer Playoffs Recap

As the CFHS boys Varsity ended their actual season, playoffs came around with the first game being against Kenston at our home field. The tigers took on the Bombers beating them 2-0. Senior Logan Webb was injured in his game against Wadsworth before the playoffs started, but during the Kenston game he went in and his very first touch on the ball was a header that found the back of the net. Senior Josh Boorman also found the back of the net off a header served by Jordan Atkins off of a corner kick.

In the second round of playoffs the Boys Tigers faced the Solon Comets. Right away the comets took the lead scoring within the first minute of the game. They also scored two more within the first half. Senior Jordan Atkins ad a good charge at the comets Goalkeeper and forced him to give up the ball and scored. Atkins also scored in the second half when a bunch of commotion went down in the Comets Goal box when the ball popped out onto the penalty kick spot and Atkins finished it with a left footed volley. That put the game at 3-2 Solon winning but soon after Solon found three more goals.
